At cornflowerblue we are all about changing the hearts of people. We are committed to being very transparent about the money we raise for the cornflowerblue foundation and how it is spent.
 
How much have we raised and how have we spent it?
 
As at 30th June 2011 - $4000 has been donated to the cornflowerblue foundation from the sale of our products.

A quick summary of our achievements as at the end of March 2011 are outlined below:
 
1. The English for Everyone Program is continuing with approximately 50 students being trained in English each week. The older students are improving in leaps and bounds. The weekly running cost for this program is $20 for photo-copying, art and craft materials and a snack. As at the end of March more than 150 students have gone through the program.
 
2. 200 beauty packs have been handed out to women at the Ashudeep Community Centre in Mahim.
 
3. Clothing has begun to be distributed to the children at Mumbai Mobile Creches and Tender Hands. To see some photos click here. A number of donations have been made to Goonj which recycles fabric.
 
4. 400 garments have been produced by under-privileged tailors through the Foundation of Love Label.
 
5. Two children are receiving regular financial support at Tender Hands Inc. 
 
6. Financial support has began for Foodbank Australia. 
 
7. cornflowerblue has received amazing donations for our customers and supporters. Keep it coming.  Thank you to generous families in Australia and NZ.
 
8. cornflowerblue donated $1 from the sale of products in Jan and Feb to the Premier's Flood Relief Fund in response to the Queensland Floods. cornflowerblue also collected donations of clothing and passed them onto families affected by the floods in Queensland. 
 
We still have a long way to go and much to do.

1. One set of classroom worksheets for a class of 50 students
2. A jar of nail polish for the women at Ashudeep Community Centre
3. Pay for 1 item to be sent to India for the Use it, Love it, Give it Back program
4. Pay for half a day for a child at Tender Hands shelter
